Well Blake had his screening for preschool today. He was so excited! He thought he was going to actual school. He had his bookbag all ready and even packed a little lunchbox with snacks!! I kept trying to explain to him that the teacher was coming to our house.
Once she came she did an assessment which he passed with flying colors. The normal range is 85-115. He scored 101 and 116. Which is great. I knew he was brilliant (like his mom)!!! The bad news about that is that he is essentially too smart for preschool. They take 4 "normal" kids and 8 special needs kids. Because he scored so high he falls to the bottom of the list. He also has to wait until the year before kindergarten before he could even go.
The poor kid is soooo excited about going to school. Oh well I just get to enjoy him here at home longer!!!
