Pound for Pound Challenge....

So within the last month or two I have somehow gained 9 lbs. Not good.....
At work they have started a group to lose weight with the Biggest Loser's Pound for Pound challenge. I decided to join but I'm just not a dieter..... I can't say no to food. I'm not too bad when I'm at home but when I'm at work I get bored or smell the residents food and suddenly I'm starving. I'm trying to cut back on the amount of pop I drink and my snacking. I've I also been taking the boys for a walk each night so we will see how I do. I would like to lose 25 lbs. That would get me two pounds below what I weighed before having the boys!!!
I've also got an appointment with Dr. Bowman tomorrow. I'm going to talk to him about weening off my crazy pills and I'm going to see if he will prescribe meridia to help me lose the weight....

Great Weekend!

We took the boys down to Columbus for a little swimming (& shopping). We stayed at Fort Rapids which is an indoor waterpark!! They had a blast. On the first day Drew didn't really like it but by the next day he was a water baby.

We stopped by COSI first and let the boys have a little science fun. We got to see live frogs! They loved that! Then we went over to Spaghetti Warehouse for .... Spaghetti!! We tried to sit in the Train but it was full, so we just sat beside it. Blake couldn't stop talking about it!!

After getting our bellies full we went swimming and then over to Easton for a little shopping!
We ate at another one of our Columbus favorite-Hoggys!!

We went to bed fairly early since we were all wore out. Woke up the next day and went and ate inside McDonalds. It's been so long since I've actually ate in a McDonalds. We did some more swimming and Eating!! We ate at Cheesecake factory. SOOO Yummy!!!

On our way home we stopped off at Polaris to hit the Disney store.

Now we are home and just relaxing. Back to work tomorrow. :(

Spring is in the air!!

I'm LOVIN' this weather!!! I am so sick of winter and the cold. I hope this weather decides to stick around! The boys and I. as well as Minnie, have been outside running around in this fresh air. It is soooo nice to get outside.
On another happy note, Minnie finally got her cast removed. Her leg as healed well. Now she just needs a good haircuttin!!! She still hobbles around like she still has it on but the vet said that is normal. She is taking steps on it though. She was pretty good at getting around with it on though. It was quite a site!!

On coupons.com there is a $3 and $5 Huggies coupon. They can be used on diapers and wipes. The wipes are on sale at Target for $5.99

On Target.com there are printable grocery coupons (near the bottom of the page). Use the Mott's applesauce one ($1) . The applesauce is only $1.67 so $.67 after coupon!!!

You can print the goldfish cracker one for some cheap goldfish!!

Preschool Screening

Well Blake had his screening for preschool today. He was so excited! He thought he was going to actual school. He had his bookbag all ready and even packed a little lunchbox with snacks!! I kept trying to explain to him that the teacher was coming to our house.

Once she came she did an assessment which he passed with flying colors. The normal range is 85-115. He scored 101 and 116. Which is great. I knew he was brilliant (like his mom)!!! The bad news about that is that he is essentially too smart for preschool. They take 4 "normal" kids and 8 special needs kids. Because he scored so high he falls to the bottom of the list. He also has to wait until the year before kindergarten before he could even go.

The poor kid is soooo excited about going to school. Oh well I just get to enjoy him here at home longer!!!

Super Excited!!

I just recieved an email that Disney World approved my application for a donation for the Memory Walk Benefit Auction in June. They are donating 4 tickets valued at $500!!! The Memory Walk is a walk put on by the Alzheimer's Association every year and it is held at Ashland University. Colonial Manor has a team that walks and to raise money we decided to have a benefit auction. Last year our auction raised $6,000!!!! Our goal this year is $10,000. It is going to be held on June 19, 2009 at the JVS. We are teaming up with Brethern Care and we figured the JVS was about half way for each of us!!! I'm soooo excited that Disney donated. Now I've got to think of some more big companies to ask!!! Anyone know of any or have any ideas????


Mom came home from the hospital (finally) today!! She was in Medcentral since Wednesday having surgery. She had a 22lb tumor removed from her ovary. There is NO CANCER present!!! Awesome news considering the kind of luck mom seems to have!! She is feeling pretty good. I've got enough people lined up to cook for her clear up to next Wed.

The day just kept getting better when I came home from work to find that Dan made supper in the crock pot!! And I only have one more day of work before I'm off for 3 days!!

Blake- He is 3 years old now and sooo talkative. He just cracks us up as the things he says. He is growing like a weed. I was just unpacking clothes for Drew to wear now and it just seems like yesterday he was wearing those clothes. Blake LOVES Thomas the train and Little Einsteins. He is really starting to get into Diego now.

Drew- Is 17 months old now. That sure went fast. He is running all over the place now but still not really talking. He too loves Little Einsteins. He can pat-pat with the best of them!!! He is our litlle medical trouble maker!! First they thought he had cystic fibrosis but really he is just small like his whole family, then he was tested for celiac which was negative and then while vacationing in Florida he decided to jump off the bed and have to get 5 stitches!!! He has no fear what so ever. He is always climbing and jumping off things.

As I sit here writing this the boys are running around in swimming trunks playing so great together (for the moment). Drew spilt a whole bottle of syrup today and Blake was feeding the dog mac and cheese, but this is how our crazy life is.....
